The Iron Fey by Julie Kagawa

So I wanted to do a review on a non-smut book series, as I really do read a little bit of everything. I found this young adult series a few years ago and I've re-read it several times. 

The story starts out kind of small, a young girl, named Meghan, in high school with one and only best friend, Robbie, and a lonely home life. When she was only six years old, he father disappeared right in front of her. Her mother remarries, moving them out to a rural farming area and has a little boy, Ethan. When Ethan starts acting weird, Meghan and Robbie dive into a world and adventure she  never thought was possible.

This series is so fantastic and so much better than several of the hugely popular young adult stories. There are 4 main books in the series along with 3 novellas and a 2 book spin-off  series.
