If Abby loses, she must live in Travis' apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

This book and its follow-up, Walking Disaster, contain a story of a roller coaster romance between Abby Abernathy and Travis Maddox. They are total opposites in most ways but feel so intensely about one another that they just cannot stay away. The relationship becomes boarderline unhealthy at times but this makes the book even harder to put down. I've read this book 3 times now, the first time I devoured the whole thing at one time, in an up all night reading extravaganza. The second book, Walking Disaster is Travis's point of view (POV). It's essentially the same story with some added information when he and Abby were not together. 

Jamie McGuire has also released a follow-up novella, A Beautiful Wedding. As well as a spin off series called The Maddox Brothers. The first book Beautiful Oblivion follows Travis's older brother Tenton as he meets the feirsly independent Camilla "Cami" Camlin. The second book in the series, Beautiful Redemption, is listed as a current project on Jamie's website but does not have a release date yet.

New Tattoo

So I have decided to tattoo the solar system compass on my palm this weekend.

I am also working on a flower garden piece that will start on top of my foot, wrap my whole calf, and end mid-way through my knee. Each flower will represent someone in my life that I love. I started sketching it the other night after the boys went to bed. The iris is for my dad's mother (my grandma), the foxgloves for my dad, and the peony for my sister. 

Added to these will be a sunflower for my niece, violets and pansies for my fiancé, anemone for my son, a poppy for my younger niece, a hibiscus for my sister-in-law, lilac for my mom, and begonia for my Mom's mother,  lotus for my brother, and lilies for my great grandma. 

Thoughtless

The Thoughtless series by S.C. Stephens, is one of my all time favorite book series. While the reviews ok amazon are mixed because the act of cheating is never acceptable. But because of this moral conflict it's a story that makes you question your own relationship morals, as you end up rooting for the other man. The author pushes your emotions, you feel the guilt and excitement right along with Kiera and Kellen. Scenes that make your heart race and your eyes can't fly across the pages fast enough. Scenes that make you grin like an idiot at the adorabliness of a couple. Scenes that makes you cry or snort and shake with laughter, as you desperately try not to wake up your sleeping significant other. It's rare to find a storyline that does all this and more. Ones that keep you up all night because you are so excited about what is going on that you cannot possibly put the book down. There is a scene in Effortless that I thought was going to kill me. I was so stressed out and anxious to find out what was going to happen. Did I mention it was around 3am? My fiancé sleeping soundly, completely unknowing that I'm about to have a breakdown beside him. I've now read this series 4 times and feel it never gets old. 

S.C. Stephens announced in July, 2014 that she has been signed for another 3 book deal which will add to the Thoughtless series set to release in Febuary, 2015.

The Last Riders MC

I read a lot. If my son decides I am boring, wondering off to go play with his dog or toys, that is fine with me as I always have a book waiting. I just finished reading a series by Jamie Bagley, 5 books are currently out and she has two spin-off series's with extra characters. Each book follows one of the brothers of the motorcycle club, The Last Riders., as they meet and fall in love with their women. The club was created by 8 men who met while serving as SEALS in the Navy. 8 sexy, tough, protective men are more interested in sex then breaking the laws. With a clubhouse full of willing women who like to share, why would these guys needs girlfriends, wives, or kids. But as each book continues, the guys get picked off one at a time. The 5 books of The Last Riders follow Razor, Viper, Knox, Shade, and Cash. The first spin-off series is called Biker Bitches, with only one book so far, that follows Sex Pistons story. The second spin-off The V.I.P. Room has three books that follow Vida, Sawyer, and King's stories. I will list the reading order below as it is a bit confusing.
I really enjoyed these books as the author gives each persons story their own personal touches so they do not become repetitive. I also love when an author incorporates real humor into the story. Silly stuff that actually happens in real life especially when a couple is just getting to know one another. If you like a good love story with hot sex, hot bad boys with hearts of gold then you will like this series.
